Through the local government¡¯s efforts, 12 high-tech enterprises signed agreements in 2005 with 12 R&D institutes and universities and colleges for cooperation. 14 enterprises in the district rank among approved high-tech enterprises of Shanghai. 79 projects received approval from the Ministry of Science and Technology or Shanghai Science and Technology Committee, up by 23.5% over the past year. 104 projects of district level have been practiced.
